Facebook Brings A New Route to Message on Instagram, Here’s How


Facebook is flipping up to merging the chats systems of both platforms Instagram and Messenger chats. Facebook is merging messenger chats with Instagram’s Direct messages to let the users access both the messaging inbox simultaneously.

New update on Instagram reads the message “There’s New Way to Message on Instagram”. This message pop-up on the screen in Instagram’s mobile app on both devices iOS and Android. With this new message, there is a list of features as well beneath the message. Including new colorful look for chats, react with any emoji, chat with Facebook friends, and swipe to reply.

So, now chats on Instagram will be surely more colorful than earlier. Though, it is still not likely possible to chat with Facebook users from Instagram. And when you scroll, the sender’s messages changing between the blue and purple. Thus, Instagram is getting more fascinating enhancements that turn the chats system completely.

Regular DM Icon of Instagram Relaced by the Messenger Chat Logo

Once you run the new update, the regular DM icon of the Instagram which resides in the top-most right side is replaced by Facebook’s Messenger chat logo. But, Facebook has made its plans clear to unite the chat systems of its most popular apps to permit cross-messaging services among Messenger chats, Instagram, and Whatsapp.

Facebook had said that they are reconstructing the foundation of the apps so the users who are using only one of its apps can be able to connect to others using numerous Facebook apps. By merging its most successful apps, Facebook may have a competition with Apple’s iMessage. Facebook bought Instagram in 2012 for $1 billion. Facebook-owned Whatsapp in 2014 for $19 billion. Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated that he wants the whole system to end-to-end encrypted.

Facebook is the biggest social media platform and working on constantly expanding its platform. In April, Facebook played a big plot by investing in India’s biggest telecom operator company Reliance JIO.  Facebook invested $5.7B in India’s Reliance JIO for 9.99% stakes. This deal brought a lot more great deals for Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance JIO. Many big investors invested in Reliance JIO, including Silver Lake, Vista, KKR, Mubadala, General Atlantic, and many more. Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg said this deal is to boost the digital eco-system of India.

In the previous month, YouTube had designed a 15-second long video feature to overtake TikTok. Following a few days, Facebook has been also launched its official Music Video Section to take on YouTube. Facebook said that the Music Video Section directly linked with the artist’s page and for uploading the video they just need to toggle the page.

Facebook constantly increasing the limits of its platforms to making everything feasible for its users. With this fresh move, merging messenger chats and Instagram’s direct messages, Facebook lets its users access both the platforms simultaneously.
