For a long time, we’ve been waiting for comet lake H-series desktop processors, and although we’ve been hearing gossips about when it will come, why it will come and what we can expect from it.
Prior to this month, the leaks of Intel’s 10th gen high-tech processors were have been doing rounds on social media. We were waiting for Intel 10 H-series high-tech processors, and presently the benchmarks of i9-10900K have been leaked. According to the new leak, Intel Core i9- 10900K is not that much effective against AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.
From previous leaks, we’ve been assumed that Intel core i9 is faster than AMD Ryzen 9 3900X. But recently, the Intel Core i9- 10900K benchmarks are leaked, and it clearly reveals that it is still slower than AMD Ryzen 9 3900X. However, it is faster than i9- 9900K by 20%.
As the Intel’s 10th high-tech processors had been leaked, the bits of gossip is started doing rounds on the social media related to its speed, execution and furthermore, which are expected to release in the next coming weeks, or next months.
According to the new leak, it is clear that it is slower than AMD Ryzen 9- 3900X processor. The new leak is by twitter user named APISAK, who has uploaded the results of i9- 10900K.
According to Geekbench 5 benchmark result provided by famous and trustable hardware filter TUM_APISAK. The results are quite interesting in this result, particularly it is stated that it’s maximum frequency is 5.08 GHz which is less than 5.3 GHz stated in previous leaks. This suggests a multi-core score of 11,296 that is not as good as AMD’s current goodwill in today’s generation.
As per result, Intel Core i9- 10900K defeat i9- 9900, with having 10 cores and 20 threads, that means i9- 10900K is faster than i9- 9900 by 20%. And when it has compared with AMD Ryzen 9 3900 X on Geekbench, Ryzen 9 3900 X defeats i9- 10900K with having 12 cores and 24 threads, that means i9- 10900K is still slower than AMD Ryzen 9 3900 X by 7%. The Ryzen 9 3900X was released in July 2019.
Intel’s rival AMD Ryzen is always ahead of Intel but Intel decided to lower this gap by releasing its next-gen H-series processors. But, this dream may always be a dream because of the benchmarks leaked that shows Intel’s i9- 10900K is way too behind Ryzen 9 3900X. According to the AdoredTV leaks, they state that Zen 3 based Ryzen 4000 has a boost of 15% in its IPC performance.
Intel’s core lead can be behind by Ryzen if it is paired with higher clocks speed on AMD’s next platform. Now, as we have seen AMD’s Zen 2 improvements over the mobile, so Intel has a lot of pressure on itself for coming up with something truly exciting and innovative. To attract the attention of critics, gamers, and developers.
Intel comet lake H-series processors have just arrived and Intel comet lake S is just around the edge of coming. Intel’s last hope is comet lake S-series to prove its worth over AMD’s Ryzen. And shake AMD’s strong grip over the processor universe.
